Welcome to my CDF/Cal Fire Registry History Page. My name is Phil Terry , and this is a short Historical perspective of my time with the organization. My Training, Assignments, Calls, Incidents and Adventures that I recall as vivid memories. My co-workers and friends often called me "Beaky" .
My First Assignment with CDF began in : 1968. I Retired in : 1999
Assigned Work Locations : Region’s 1,5,6 San Mateo , Riverside, Santa Clara, and Lake/Napa Ranger Units Belmont, Perris, Temecula, Skylonda, Alma, Sunol, Castle Rock, Napa, Yountville, St.Helena, Leesville, Gordon Valley,.Brooks Stations. Ending at Lake/Napa Hq’s.
Favorite Assignments : St.Helena Station and many overhead assignments through out the state.
Most Interesting Calls : Many, but the Oaklands Hills fire “Tunnel Fire” most spectacular.
My thoughts about my time with CDF and some Comments for those considering joining CDF/Cal Fire : A wonderful career, and they paid me to work there, couldn’t be better.
