Welcome to my CDF/Cal Fire Registry History Page. My name is Russ Russell , and this is a short Historical perspective of my time with the organization. My Training, Assignments, Calls, Incidents and Adventures that I recall as vivid memories. My co-workers and friends often called me The Ranch Master .
My First Assignment with CDF began in : 1964. I Retired in : 2005
Assigned Work Locations : Beaumont Station 20, Orange County Fire (Airport), Perris Headquarters, Western division Vacation relief (early 70s), Anza/Sage relief, Station 22
Favorite Assignments : Division Group Sup. on Several Fire throughout the State Member of the States first Firing Team
Most Interesting Calls : The Northridge Earthquake and the Roddy King Riots Delivered 3 babies in the Field Swift Water rescue in the late 70s (only Firefighter on scene)
